Recently I have been...

A little round up of the last couple of weeks or so >>

Baking: Lemon drizzle loaf which reminds me of Spring!

Photographing: As many snow drops as I can, they're everywhere I go and they're just so beautiful.

Watching: Vixella on YouTube. I've started watching more gaming videos and ever since Alfie and Zoe started their Sims videos I've been watching other Sims videos too. I've been loving Sasha's current legacy challenge, if you love watching Sims videos then I definitely recommend her channel.

Playing: The keyboard! I haven't played my keyboard in ages so I thought I have a go over the weekend. I can't read piano sheet music so I end up either trying to play by ear or watching YouTube videos.

Wearing: Sunglasses more often because we've had some really lovely bright sunny days!

Writing: New ideas for blog posts. My notebook for once is starting to fill up with plenty of ideas for blog posts thanks to all the inspiration I've found through other bloggers!

Drinking: Pomegranate juice which I found in Sainsbury's. I never thought I would like pomegranate juice but I absolutely love it! It's so refreshing and I think it'll make such a perfect Summer drink with plenty of ice.

Thinking: Whether or not to move the blog over to WordPress. I like using Blogger but at some point I want to expand my blog, have a custom domain and even go self hosted. If anyone has made the move from Blogger to WordPress please let me know in the comments!

Drawing: Hermione Granger, still drawing in fact. I've left this drawing for ages and I've been wanting to complete it but I keep putting it aside because I'm struggling with the hair. I think I'm going to have to watch some more YouTube tutorials.

Pinning: Lots of Spring to my Pinterest boards, from fashion to baking and lovely ideas for Instagram photos!

Using: Pantene Repair and Protect shampoo & conditioner. I am surprised at how strong and soft my hair feels ever since I had it bleached. This shampoo is all I've been using for my hair, I haven't needed to use any special treatments at all, so I think it's pretty great.

Loving: Lighter mornings and lighter evenings. It's so lovely to open up my curtains in the morning to sunlight!

What have you been up
to recently?

  1. You are able to have a custom domain and be self hosted with Blogger (that is what I do currently), however I do hear that Wordpress has more functionality and plugins etc. I have been considering moving over for a while so would love to hear your experiences once you make the change!

The lemon drizzle loaf looks so delicious!

    1. I'm definitely looking into it, I'm just a little worried about the whole moving over process because I hear it could be a little tricky. I'll be sure to post about my experience once I've figured out how to do it!

  4. Ohh yes I love some pomegranate juice! I totally recommend moving to wordpress, the sooner the better so you can build up your domain age! It can be a pain to move yourself but some hosting companies will do the migration for you as part of the package if you do a little research! xx

  5. Ah I can't wait for Spring, I'm over Winter already lol (it's too cold in Canada)! I've also been trying to get back to playing my piano which just collects dust but I also depend on my ears to play haha. Lovely post, I enjoyed it! ♡
